Based in Switzerland, Rychiger AG is a global manufacturer of premium packaging machinery, servicing food and beverage, healthcare and retail. In 2022 they were undergoing a process of consolidation, bringing different arms of the business together under the single Rychiger 'one' banner. To communicate the change and new unified business offering, they approached Perth-based digital agency Humaan.
We worked with Humaan as a design partner, alongside Rychiger and their nominated European developer, to redesign the website for the business, and tighten up their brand toolkit.
Our role focused predominantly on the overall UX and UI of the site, informed by data gathered by the Rychiger team. The design process was driven by a list of objectives, aimed at surfacing the breadth of industries serviced and unparalleled capabilities of their machinery. Visually, Rychiger wanted to steer away from the hyper-pragmatic, minimal stereotypes of Swiss engineering, and present the warmth and approachability of the people behind the business.
